Swimming Toys Information

We have a lot of swimming toys each summer. We tend to have so many that there isn’t room in my daughter’s small pool for her to play. It’s actually kind of funny when I see her dumping her toys in one at a time, and then watching her try to decide where she can get in. Her swimming toys are some that double as both toys in the wintertime, but we do go out and buy her some new ones each summer as she grows. Though she still loves her rubber ducky, she is getting older and wanting different things to play with in the water.

Some of her swimming toys have made it into my home, and I’m not happy about it. She is so attached to these swimmingtoys that I am don’t want to throw them out, but I may not have much choice. There are three blow-up swimming toys that she loves, and they are out in our hallways. They are in the way in the house as we have no room for them, but they are also a hazard sitting on the stairs leading up to our apartment. When I threaten to get rid of them, she manages to produce some impressive looking tears to try to talk me out of it. So far, I have relented, but that might not last much longer.

Swimming Toys Tips

The swimming toys that end up in her bath are the smaller ones that have lasted a few years now. We got a set of small, plastic Wiggles’ figures and she loves them very much. They have gone from the pool to the tub many, many times and they have not lost their appeal as of yet. I thought for sure the Wiggles would fade as she got older, but she is still very much a Wiggles kid, and she will continue to want to have those figures for her swimmingtoys each year.

One thing you have to remember when you are putting away your swimming toys for the year is that they need to be cleaned, especially if they have anything on them that holds water. When the water sits inside the swimming toys it can breed mold that can be dangerous. You should take all bath and swimming toys out of the water when you are done, and you should make sure you soak them in a water and bleach soak at least once a month to kill molds and bacteria.
